FITT Force Carbon neutral and the Water is Life project

To date, however, it is not yet possible to completely eliminate the impact of a production process. In vies of this, FITT has decided to offset the remaining CO2 emissions generated during the production of FITT Force: the strongest and lightest garden hose for intensive use.

Ideal forwatering large vegetable gardens, extensive gardens and for use on abrasive surfaces, FITT Force is the first carbon neutral product in the watering sector. How? Through 4 actions: measure, know, reduce and offset. FITT Force has undergone a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), the empirical tool that measures impact throughout the entire life cycle of a product, from the extraction of the raw materials to disposal. Following this analysis, FITT has chosen to offset all CO2 emissions (2.541 tonnes) generated during the production of the entire FITT Force range by purchasing Gold Standard certified carbon credits generated by the Water is Life project.

FITT designs and manufactures pipes and hoses for transporting fluids, the main one being water. This is why it chose to support the Water is Life project, with the aim of ensuring access to such a vital resource, also in areas where it is not easily available.
